Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of requestingprayer.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
What Requesting Prayer is
Requesting Prayer is a free, public place to share prayer requests and to pray for or respond to others. The Site is offered as a Christ-based mission and is not affiliated with, and does not claim to be, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Using the Site
- You may post prayer requests and responses anonymously or under a display name.
- You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or that violates another person's rights or privacy.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
- We reserve the right to remove (quarantine or delete) any content, and to suspend access, at our discretion — including content that violates these Terms.
Content you post
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you give Requesting Prayer permission to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the Site (for example, showing it in the public feed and archive).
You are responsible for what you post. Content posted by users reflects the views of that user, not Requesting Prayer.
No professional advice
Requesting Prayer is a community prayer platform, not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you are in crisis or experiencing an emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline directly.
Donations
Donations made through the Site are processed by Stripe. Donations are voluntary gifts to support the mission of the Site. Requesting Prayer is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are not tax-deductible unless and until that changes — we will update this page if it does.
Accounts
Signing in is optional and uses a one-time email link rather than a password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that is how sign-in links are delivered.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Requesting Prayer and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
